Expectations for CARD 101

 Hey Lombrices! 

The start of this year is already so much better than my first year of high school! For the first time I feel like I belong somewhere.

My expectations for CARD 101 are a little high. I fully expect to improve my writing skills and to learn how to write with a voice. In high school, we are taught to write very robotically with a formula. I started to apply more and more of my voice in my essays my senior year in high school. I just want to solidify that technique with my future college papers. I plan to approach these tactics with asking more questions and becoming more comfortable with change. I often find that change holds me back a lot of the time, but change is how you grow.

P.S. Lombrice was a nickname given to me by my father when I was young, therefore why the name of my blog is the lombrices.

Using AI for the first time for a paper and Hell Week

 Good day Lombrices!  I hope all is well, and that you are all having a great Halloweekend!  I am about to leave for work soon, but first things first, I used AI for the first time to revise my paper! It was only an experiment, but it was a very interesting experience. I find it kind of creepy that AI is super advanced nowadays to the point where it can take your average paper and turn it into a high-level paper. I understand that it's not an ideal resource to use when writing your paper, but to be honest, it isn't all that bad. One last time...

 Hello Lombrices!  I hope all of you are doing well!  This will be my final post of the semester in Card 101! That's so crazy!  I just want to start out by saying, thank you so much for being on this journey with me! This semester really went by so fast, and I hope all of you had a great time reading my posts!  Now, my progress in Card 101...how do I feel about it?  Well, to be completely honest with you, in what seemed to be a very short time being in Card 101, I feel like I truly did grow, perspective wise. I've learned to look at questions or ideas, or even documentaries in a different light. I've learned to truly dig into something, and to really describe things in greater detail, unlike my past high school essays where I would just be so robotic and restrictive on my writing. Ideas and process for Rational Argument

 Good day Lombrices!       This whole week has been weird. Now approaching the end of the haunt season, I've realized how much I haven't been paying attention to my feelings, and I should probably start doing that before it turns into a huge problem. Speaking of feelings, I feel like I have very little ideas for my rational argument.       The moment the topic of finding a question came up in class, my mind kind of went blank. I could do my rational argument based on my microtheme from the beginning of the semester. It was about how we as people always try to have a perfect body and compare ourselves to this image that society put in our minds. But I feel like that topic isn't relevant to me anymore. So, I'm still left without a question.       I've been trying to find my question in relevant feelings that I have towards situations in my life.
