Weekend thrills

 Hello, Lombrices! 

Hope all is well! My weekend was a very busy one! I've been working at Basement of the Dead for 2 years, yet I can't get used to the long nights. It all started on Friday, I had to get up at 5 in the morning in order to arrive at the haunt at 6 a.m. CBS News was coming out to review us, so it was important that most of the actors were there. Trust me when I say we were all a little cranky and stressed that morning. 

Afterward, my sister and I decided to stay at the haunt with two other actors since if we were to leave, we would've had to return in a few hours regardless. So, one of our bosses told us we could stay and that they would order us lunch. That was one of the best days, considering the fact that it was Friday the 13th, all we did was talk for hours on end and we went ghost haunting. So much fun! 

Saturday was a stressful day... considering the fact that it was our first 6-11 night at the haunt. BUT it was my sister and I's first time wearing makeup! (Usually, we use a mask, but we decided to let our skin breathe) A huge shout-out to Birdie for doing our makeup! They are the best!  

The next morning on Sunday, my body rejected the idea of me getting up early in the morning, but I eventually had to get up so I could prepare for another night. Today (Sunday) was very slow, but it was a relief. :) I'm super tired, but it's worth it!

Using AI for the first time for a paper and Hell Week

 Good day Lombrices!  I hope all is well, and that you are all having a great Halloweekend!  I am about to leave for work soon, but first things first, I used AI for the first time to revise my paper! It was only an experiment, but it was a very interesting experience. I find it kind of creepy that AI is super advanced nowadays to the point where it can take your average paper and turn it into a high-level paper. I understand that it's not an ideal resource to use when writing your paper, but to be honest, it isn't all that bad. I find it very useful to help get my message across but with more "pizzazz" in the sentences.  I'm excited to continue experimenting with AI in the future!  Now... it's Hell Week everyone! (*Insert "Dun Dun Dun" sound effect*)  Hell Week is pretty much the haunt days (starting from Thursday) leading up to Halloween. One last time...

 Hello Lombrices!  I hope all of you are doing well!  This will be my final post of the semester in Card 101! That's so crazy!  I just want to start out by saying, thank you so much for being on this journey with me! This semester really went by so fast, and I hope all of you had a great time reading my posts!  Now, my progress in Card 101...how do I feel about it?  Well, to be completely honest with you, in what seemed to be a very short time being in Card 101, I feel like I truly did grow, perspective wise. I've learned to look at questions or ideas, or even documentaries in a different light. I've learned to truly dig into something, and to really describe things in greater detail, unlike my past high school essays where I would just be so robotic and restrictive on my writing. Ideas and process for Rational Argument

 Good day Lombrices!       This whole week has been weird. Now approaching the end of the haunt season, I've realized how much I haven't been paying attention to my feelings, and I should probably start doing that before it turns into a huge problem. Speaking of feelings, I feel like I have very little ideas for my rational argument.       The moment the topic of finding a question came up in class, my mind kind of went blank. I could do my rational argument based on my microtheme from the beginning of the semester. It was about how we as people always try to have a perfect body and compare ourselves to this image that society put in our minds. But I feel like that topic isn't relevant to me anymore. So, I'm still left without a question.       I've been trying to find my question in relevant feelings that I have towards situations in my life. Like: Why do we call people who we're interested in romantically called crushes?...
